Mine-used PVC-O water supply pipe is a high-performance PVC water pipe modified by biaxial axial orientation technology. It is specially enhanced with flame retardant, antistatic, impact resistant and corrosion resistant properties to adapt to complex underground and surface mine working conditions.
Designed for mine water supply and drainage, underground process cold water delivery, and dust suppression water supply at mining faces, it inherits the core advantages of PVC-O pipes: high strength, light weight and high pressure resistance. It fully meets mine safety standards and harsh operating requirements, serving as a dedicated high-performance pipe for mine pipeline network construction. It is divided into two types: underground flame-retardant and antistatic type and surface mine dedicated type.
Adopts special mine-grade PVC-O resin raw material and is formed via biaxial axial orientation. The pipe features dense molecular arrangement with high rigidity and high toughness. Its resistance to gravel impact and tunnel extrusion is far superior to ordinary UPVC mine pipes.
Modified design for different working conditions: The underground type is specially modified for flame retardancy and antistatic performance, with no static accumulation and non-flame propagation, complying with underground mine safety specifications. The surface type is added with wear-resistant and mine-soil corrosion-resistant additives, enabling the outer wall to resist gravel friction and erosion from mine soil and mine water.
Mainly available in medium and small calibers (DN50~DN200), suitable for laying in narrow mine tunnels. The thin-wall and lightweight structure facilitates manual handling and installation underground, with high roundness and precise dimensions.
Equipped with supporting anti-drop and anti-seepage sealing connectors of socket-spigot structure. No open flame operation is required, conforming to the fire-prohibition construction requirements underground. The joints are reinforced to resist vibration from mine cars and tunnel settlement.
Both inner and outer pipe walls are smooth. The inner wall reduces head loss during long-distance water transportation in mines and meets the high-pressure water supply demand of mining faces. The outer wall is integrally formed without coating, avoiding impurity pollution caused by coating peeling due to collision underground.
Enhanced mine water resistance capability. It can withstand weakly corrosive media such as sulfates and inorganic salts in mine groundwater and process water, with no swelling or aging, perfectly adapting to the harsh water quality environment of mines.
Mechanical Performance: Axial tensile strength ≥ 60 MPa, ring stiffness ≥ SN12.5; no damage under drop weight impact at -10℃, capable of withstanding tunnel extrusion and gravel impact in mines.
Pressure Resistance: Working pressure ranges from 1.6 to 3.2 MPa, meeting the pressure requirements for high-pressure dust suppression water supply underground and process water transmission on the mine surface; no pipe burst or leakage during long-term operation.
Flame Retardant and Antistatic (Underground Type): Flame retardancy reaches V0 grade, self-extinguishes once away from fire without flame spreading. Surface volume resistivity ≤ 1×10⁹ Ω, no static charge accumulation on the pipe, eliminating safety hazards caused by static sparks.
Corrosion and Wear Resistance: Resists weak corrosion from mine water (sulfate content ≤ 500 mg/L) and acid, alkali and salt in soil. Outer wall wear resistance ≥ 3.0 mg/(1000 revolutions), excellent resistance to gravel friction.
Hydraulic Performance: Inner wall friction coefficient ≤ 0.010 with low flow resistance, reducing head loss in long-distance mine water transmission and suitable for high-pressure and large-flow water supply at working faces.
Temperature Resistance: Applicable temperature range: -15℃ ~ 60℃. Adapts to constant temperature underground and large temperature difference on the mine surface, no brittle cracking, softening or deformation.
